ibis budget Singapore Joo Chiat

Located in a good district with many restaurants around. Mostly Vietnamese. The room was clean and comfortable and represented good value for a city with outrageous prices. Small but functional. For the money you're not going to get anything better

the room is so clean and for 2 star hotel i recommend to people, so comfy and its safe too for womens. plenty eatery area. and 1.8km walking distance to mrt. i would really suggest this place

The hotel is located in a vibrant Joo Chiat neighborhood. It has access to public transportation with bus or 15 minutes walk to green or brown lines of MRT. There are a lot of cute cafes and good food in the neighborhood, too. It’s very safe despite active night life. Our room was spacious and had two windows. Nothing fancy, pretty old furniture, but good air conditioning and very clean. Housekeeping was done daily, and hospitality was on the high level.

THE LOCATION IS STRATEGIC, YOU CAN JUST TAKE BUS NO 33 AND GET TO THE NEAREST MRT STATION - DOKATA. YOU JUST WALK AND TURN LEFT, THE BUS STATION WAS LESS THAN 1 MINUTE WALK. THERE ARE MANY STORES SUCH AS 7-11, FOOD STORES, PUB (FOREIGNERS WILL BE LIKE IT SO MUCH) AND BESIDE IS THE THAI BOXING SCHOOL (SO SPECIAL RIGHT), AND FOR RELIGIOUS TRAVELLERS, THE CHINESE TEMPLE WHICH HONOUR THE GUAN TI (GOD OF JUSTICE) WAS JUST BESIDE. I THINK YOU CANT GET THE HOTEL THAT SO GOOD WHICH IS JUST SGD 70++ ESPECIALLY IF YOU COME FROM MALAYSIA AND PITY OUR RELATIVELY LOW CURRENCY.

Ibis budget Singapore style. Still basic and budget. As expected. Location in lovely heritage area close to airport but a bit of a hike by public transport into centre. Booked spacious room with window. Significantly larger than my previous ibis budget. Clean comfy bed and linens. Staff helpful and friendly. Air conditioning quiet and effective Water cooler on ground floor much appreciated. Minor points. Wifi sketchy. Hasn’t been a problem elsewhere. Unfortunately my room had a room adjoining door with zero sound isolation. If anything magnified sound of everything in the adjoining room. Plus would suggest that chairs in room have some sound cushioning as the room above was constantly screeching the chairs on the floor. So easy to do but comes right through ceiling. These could all be easily fixed I would stay again and would recommend
